Revenue Sharing Writing Sites

Income from Writing
For anyone who likes to write, the prospect of getting paid for it is enticing. Thats why I've put together this list of websites that pay authors for their work.
Whether you are looking to make a little extra income or to fully freelance, check out the summaries of all these writing sites.
Oh, and this page will be continually added to as I get more information and new sites come up!
Types of Sites
Each site has different ways they work. Some pay upfront for piece work, others provide a share of advertising profits. Some sites retain all the rights to your work, others allow you full control. You can find sites that allow you to write pretty much anything in any format, and others that have strict style and content guidelines, and editors that review everything. And of course there are some writing opportunities that are completely salaried!
Although each site has different characteristics, most follow three formats:
1) Revenue Sharing: revenues are split in some way between the site and you, and often you have totally control of topics;
2) Piece Work: getting paid a set price for a set amount and type of work, often with set topics;
3) Auction: people select your work for purchase.
Everyone will have different preferences when it comes to topics and payment structure. Have a look around and find out what site is the best fit for you.
